New WIP and Gallery – Legend BB Zakuto (Yami Shogun) (SD)

Everyone who knows me, can tell I’m having a weak spot for samurai.
So here’s SD Zaku Shogun. This one is gift from my Spouse.
Building it was piece of cake – half hour and it was put together. Some light painting and weathering were made over weekend.

Here’s WIP (each picture has a brief description):

And here’s finished model:

New Gallery – Komainu from Rising Sun

Here’s latest painted figure – Komainu from Rising Sun board game (Polish edition I’ve got).

I decided to go with game’s original colour scheme for this one, so it’s basically whole made in pale gold. I wanted to add some more contrast, hence why bricks on base are red and I added static grass with colourful petals.

Lord’s Blade Ciaran WIP Gallery

Recently I’ve got my hands on Lord’s Blade Ciaran GK from MouseUnit, sculpted by IKEGAMI.
Along with Artorias and Sif, they’re my favourite dysfunctional family from Dark Souls. As for now she’s going to be a bit lonely, but the rest will join her soon (at least that’s my plan).
Here’s WIP, she’s been painted using mainly Army Painter acrylics, with small help of Vallejo’s.

Enjoy.

New WIP Gallery – Rathalos Armour Hunter

Here are few pictures of garage kit I’ve been working on recently.
It’s male hunter, blademaster in Rathalos’ armour from Monster Hunter franchise.
Originally Rathalos is red (though there’re variations like Azure, Silver, etc.), but I decided to go with another colour scheme. Mine is going to be moonstone. At least, that’s the plan.
As usual, I’m using acrylics.

Enjoy!

New WIP Gallery – Dwarven Cupid

Recently I’ve received this miniature as a gift from my dear Friend, who knows way to much about me and my preferences. It’s so terribly wrong, I can’t stop loving it.
This one is original from Scibor Miniatures.

Cast itself is nice. Honestly, I skipped some prep-work, because… I admit, I just wanted to get to painting it. There were few bubbles (one on toes, one on cuffs), but it’s something I fixed with putty (and detailed later).
It’s fun to do something different from my usual figures.

And I even haven’t really touched that poor goblin yet.
