New WIP and Gallery – Legend BB Zakuto (Yami Shogun) (SD)

Everyone who knows me, can tell I’m having a weak spot for samurai.
So here’s SD Zaku Shogun. This one is gift from my Spouse.
Building it was piece of cake – half hour and it was put together. Some light painting and weathering were made over weekend.

Here’s WIP (each picture has a brief description):

And here’s finished model:

Enjoy!

New Gallery – Onmitsu Gundam

Years ago, I won this little guy in raffle.
I never really had guts to build it, I thought it’s too complicated and will take too much time.
Turned out I was wrong about all these aspects. It was fun and quick to build.

I decided to make him look dirty, as I’m disgusted with knights in shining armours – it means they never really fought ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) [I’m not super serious about it, it’s just my preference]
As usual, hand-painted with acrylics.

Enjoy!

New Galleries, HUGE UPDATE!

Long time no see, huh?
I’m terrible at it.
Finally I managed to photograph some figures I painted recently.
My favourite Dark Souls family is finally together:

I finished Ciaran first, you could’ve seen her here:

Today I present to you more pics of finished Artorias and Sif;

Sir Artorias, the Abysswalker

Great Grey Wolf Sif

All three are sculpted by IKEGAMI, available from Mouse Unit.

BUT THAT’S NOT ALL.

Here’s Horned Frog, small kit sculpted by 大山竜, which I’ve got from my friend Acidraw

BUT WAIT, THERE’S STILL MORE!

In previous epoch, Steamforged Games LTD came up with Kickstarter campaign for Dark Souls: The Board Game. Which I backed.
The game came with pretty neat miniatures and I just painted one of them, the Dragon Slayer Ornstein

[I’m just salty, because it takes them ages to release the game and their services are shady.]

Well, that’s all for today. Hopefully I’ll be able to show some more stuff soon.
At least I keep fingers crossed for that. Yeah.
Enjoy!

New Gallery and WIP – SD Miku

I don’t have much to tell about this one. I tried my best, yet I can’t say I’m 100% satisfied with results. I’ve learnt a lot about airbrushing and found a lot of new reasons to hate it. And varnishes. I hate them so much.
Still I think it was worth it.
SD Miku from GK-Model.
It’s gift for my Friend.
Nice cast, didn’t require much work, fitting was really good – nice kit for beginners.
It’s (mostly) airbrushed with Vallejo Model Colour with addition of Daler-Rowney’s Interference Colours and Alclad2 Prismatic Sapphire.

Enjoy~!
