Years ago, I won this little guy in raffle.
I never really had guts to build it, I thought it’s too complicated and will take too much time.
Turned out I was wrong about all these aspects. It was fun and quick to build.
I decided to make him look dirty, as I’m disgusted with knights in shining armours – it means they never really fought ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) [I’m not super serious about it, it’s just my preference]
As usual, hand-painted with acrylics.
She’s almost done and this is last WIP part. I should be able to take photos this week.
I’ve decided to airbrush most of her. Because I have to learn how to airbrush. Somehow. I still don’t like it at all (airbrushing) and I can’t make lines I want but someday I’ll learn it… Right? Probably not, but I need to keep trying. Besides the fact, handpainting skin is really boring.
I was busy doing painting commissions, so I haven’t had enough time to work on this one.
Here’s update on crab (which I decided to paint after rainbow crab) and some work on the base.
Aaaaand I still didn’t finish Sigrid’s prep work. Or rather didn’t even start it. Hah. I’m going to try painting her with airbrush (skin, hair) by the way. Did I mention I really don’t like prep work?
This time I’m working on her dress and wings. She should be finished soon. I’m not sure about her base though.
It’s going to be a little complicated – I got Copper(II) sulfate, from which I’m trying to get blue crystals for the base. Once they’ll grow up (at least some), I’ll be able to finish whole figure.
